probably a room or rooms attached to the libraries of the FORUM TRAIANI (q.v.), where editors and authors worked, if we may judge from the only occurrence of the name-in the subscriptio after declamatio Pseudo-Quintiliana x in codd. Parisinus 16230 and Sorbonianus 629: legi et emendavi ego Dracontius cum fratre Ierio .. ¹ urbis Romae in schola fori Traiani. Dracontius and Hierius probably belonged to the late fourth or early fifth century (RhM 1905, 154-158).
