χάλυψ [α^], υ^βος, ὁ, in pl.,
A.the Chalybes in Pontus, who were famous for the preparation of steel, “οἱ σιδηροτέκτονες Χάλυβες” A.Pr. 715, cf. Hdt.1.28, X.An.5.5.1, Call. in PSI9.1092.48 (on another nation of the same name v. Str.12.3.20).
