E. WITHOUT CASE, as Adv., about, around, on both or all sides, freq. in Ep., “ῥῆξεν δέ οἱ ἀ. χιτῶνα” Il.13.439; ἀ. δὲ λειμών around is meadow, Od.6.292; so “ἀ. περί” Il.21.10, etc.
F. IN COMPOS.:
