2. to a mortal, Od.6.149, etc.—Common in Poetry from Pi. downwds.; rare in Prose, as Isoc.9.72, Arist. Fr.526: c. dat., “ἐνέροισινA.R.3.862.
3. generally, like ἄναξ IV, ἄνασσα πράγους καὶ βουλεύματος authoress of this deed, E.Fr.704; “ὀργίωνAr.Ra.387.
