A.dock-tailed, stump-tailed, metaph., “ὥσπερ ὑπὸ γήρως ἀπτῆνα καὶ κ.Plu.Flam.21:—fem. κόλουρις , of the fox in the fable, Timocr.3; cf. κοθοῦριν.
