I.a small river in Mysia, which has its source in Mount Ida, and is famous for the victory of Alexander the Great over the Persians which took place on its banks, Mel. 1, 19, 2; Plin. 5, 32, 40, § 141; Ov. M. 11, 763; Curt. 3, 1, 9.
