I.the northernmost city of the Volsci in Latium, near Arpinum, on the Liris, still called Sora, Plin. 3, 5, 9, § 63; Liv. 7, 28; 9, 23 sq.; 10, 1; Vell. 1, 14, 5; Sil. 8, 396; Juv. 3, 223.—Hence, Sōrānus , a, um, adj., of or belonging to Sora, Soran: “ager,Liv. 10, 14: “transfuga,from Sora, id. 9, 24: “Q.
