I. A female descendant of Minos. So his daughter Ariadne, Ov. M. 8, 174; Prop. 3, 19, 27: “grex magis, an regnum Minoida sollicitat?” i. e. Pasiphaë, the wife of Minos, Aus. Idyll. 12, 7.—
II. A name of the Isle of Paros, Plin. 4, 12, 22, § 67.
