Simöis, a river of Troas that ran into the Seamander, and filled all the neighbouring ground with marshes.Sigeia telius. The Trojan fields are so called from Signum, a promontory of Troas, where Achilles, Patroclus, Antilochus, &c. had their sepulchres.
