Pectoris ut nunc est. The flames which were foretold by the seers to threaten Troy, are here interpreted by Paris of the flames of love that raged within his breast. It was natural enough for a mind that could attend to nothing else but what one way or other concerned its passion, to put this construction upon the prediction of the soothsayers.
