Astŭres

A warlike people in the northwest of Spain, bounded on the east by the Cantabri and Vaccaei, on the west by the Gallaeci, on the north by the ocean, and on the south by the Vettones. Their chief town was Asturica Augusta (Astorga), and they have given their name also to the modern Spanish province of Asturias.
