A nymph of Ida in Crete, one of the nurses of Zeus, and afterwards changed into a constellation.

A promontory of Attica, formed by the range of Pentelicus.


3.

A promontory of Attica, facing the northeastern extremity of Salamis. It is mentioned in the oracle delivered to the Athenians prior to the battle of Salamis (Herod.viii. 76).
