Lingŏnes

A powerful people in Transalpine Gaul, bounded by the Treviri on the north and the Sequani
on the south. Their chief town was Andematurinum, afterwards Lingones (Langres).
2.
A branch of the above-mentioned people, who migrated into Cisalpine Gaul along with the
Boii, and dwelt in the neighbourhood of Ravenna.
