（Μῆνιγξ) or Lotophagītis
(Λωτοφαγῖτις). An island close to the coast of Africa
Propria, at the southeastern extremity of the Lesser Syrtis. It was the birthplace of the
Roman emperors Vibius Gallus and Volusianus.
