A port and harbour in Sicily, at the mouth of the river Cacyparis, below Syracuse; now
Asparanetto.
2.
A village and anchoring-place of Cyrenaïca, between Erythron and Apollonia (
Mela, i. 8).
3.
An anchoringplace on the coast of the Euxine, in Asia Minor, about ninety stadia from the
mouth of the Halys.
