Oenus

Οἰνοῦς).


1.

A town of Laconia, supposed to have been situated on the river of the same name flowing near Sellasia (Livy, xxxiv. 28).


2.

Or Aenus, a river of Germany, separating Noricum from Vindelicia, and falling into the Danube at Boiodurum (Passau). It is now the Inn.
