Saītis

Σαῖτις). A surname of Athené, under which she had a sanctuary on Mount Pontinus, near Lerna, in Argolis. The name was traced by the Greeks to the Egyptians, among whom Athené was said to have been called Saïs (Herod.ii. 75).
