Saspīres

or Sapīres (Σάσπειρες, Σάπειρες). A Scythian people in Asia, south of Colchis and north of Media, according to Herodotus (i. 104; iv. 37); but placed by Apollonius Rhodius (ii. 397) on the shores of the Euxine.
