（Ξόϊς) or Choïs (Χόϊς). An ancient city of Lower Egypt, north of Leontopolis, on an
island of the Nile, in the Nomos Sebennyticus, the seat, at one time, of a dynasty of Egyptian
kings. Its site is very doubtful.
