Cynāné

Κυνάνη), Cyna (Κύνα), or Cynna (Κύννα). The half-sister of Alexander the Great, daughter of Philip by Audata, an Illyrian woman. She married her cousin, Amyntas, and on Alexander's death went to Asia, intending to marry her daughter Eurydicé to Arrhidaeus; but Perdiccas, who controlled Arrhidaeus, fearing this project, had her put to death (Diod. Sic. xix. 15).
