Tachos

Ταχώς). A king of Egypt who succeeded Acoris, and maintained the independence of his country for a short time during the latter end of the reign of Artaxerxes II. (B.C. 364-361). He was, however, overthrown by Nectanabis, who succeeded him as king of Egypt (Diod.xv. 92; Chabr. 2).
