ADDIX

ADDIX (ἄδδιξ), a Greek measure of capacity, equal to four χοίνικες. (Aristoph. Fr. 573 Dind., 689 Meineke, ap. Eustath. in Od. p. 1854, 12; Phot. p. 8, 6; Bekk. Anecd. p. 342, 26; Etym. M. p. 16, 53; 17, 46; Hultsch, Metrol. p. 275.) The form ἄδδιξις is merely a corrupt reading in Hesych. sub voce
