ANTHRACION (ἀνθράκιον, ἐσχάρα, ἐσχαρίς,
ἐσχάριον), a small portable stove or
brazier, filled with hot coals, and carried from room to room as required,
as in Italy in the present day. (Cf. Poll. 10.100, 101.)
