HARPLEIA (Ἅρπλεια), a place in Laconia upon the slopes of Mt. Taygetus, but at the entrance of the plain. Leake places it at the village of Xerokambi. (Paus. 3.20.7; Leake, Peloponnesiaca, p. 361.)
