MYRMEX (Μύρμηχ, Ptol. 4.4.15), an island off the coast of Cyrenaica, which is identified with the AUSIGDA (Αὔσιγδα) of Hecataeus (Fr. 300), where the charts show an islet, between Ptolemais and Phycus. [E.B.J]
