MELSUS (Μέλσος), a small river of Hispania Tarraconenis, flowing into the sea through the territory of the Astures, not far from the city Noega (Νοίγα). Perhaps the modern Narcea. (Strab. iii. p.167; Florez, Esp. Sagr. xv. p. 47.)
