Eth. ORCHE´NI (Ὀρχηνοί), a people of Arabia Deserta, placed by Ptolemy on the Persian Gulf, i. e. to the NE. of his Arabia Felix. (Ptol. 5.19.2.) They were perhaps the inhabitants of Orchoe mentioned below. [G.W]
