NAUTACA (Ναύτακα, Arrian, Anab. 3.28, 4.18), a town of Sogdiana, in the neighbourhood of the Oxus (Jihon), on its eastern bank.
It has been conjectured by Professor Wilson that it may be the same as Naksheb. (Ariana, p. 165.) [V]
