ZYGOPOLIS (Συγόπολις, Strab. xii. p.548), a town in Pontus, in the neighbourhood of Colchis. Stephanus B. (p. 290) conjectures that it was in the territory of the Zygi, which, however, does not agree with Strabo's description. [T.H.D]
