277. In a few cases the prohibition with ὅπως μή takes the form of a warning. Besides AESCH. Prom. 68 and Bacch. 367, quoted above, see XEN. Cyr. i. 3, 18 , ὅπως οὖν μὴ ἀπολεῖ μαστιγούμενος, look out that you are not flogged to death. So PLAT. Prot. 313 C, quoted in 283.
