Vars says (op. cit. 151), "à côtè de l'expression νῆα κέλσαι ou ἐπικέλσαι (Homère), on peut considérer le mot χριμψασθαι commune expression technique signifiant' échouer sur le sable, h. Hom. Ap. 439, ἡ δ᾽ ἀμάθοισιν ἐχρίμψατο ποντοπόρος νηῦς." κέλσαι, however, is used of this landing, 1090 infr.
