[957] στελεῇ: 'the handle,' τῇ λαβῇ. Schol. In Hom., according to the old view, στειλειόν is the handle which fits into the στειλειή, the hole in the head of the implement (Od. 5. 236, 21. 422), but more probably both words mean the handle.
