[86] ἔσται ὅτε : cf. xxiii. 34; Iliad xiii. 817; Odyss. xviii. 272. Teiresias seems to prophecy a new golden age on earth as the result of Heracles' labours; cf. Verg. Ecl. iv. 24. The idea is unusual in this connexion, but there is hardly ground for suspecting the verses as an interpolation.
