From this definite reference, it would seem that Socrates knew very well what was meant by the prohibition τοῖς νέοις μὴ διαλέγεσθαι. σὺν τοῖς ὀρθῶς λεγομένοις εἶναι: to be associated with right teachings. μὴ ὀρθῶς: sc. λεγομένοις.
