Lamprocles, who has his own mother in mind, answers with the article, τῆς μητρός, τῆς γε τοιαύτης the mother's, if she be such a one as mine. δακοῦσα, λακτίσασα: for the aor. participle expressing time coincident with that of the main verb, see GMT. 150; H. 856 b.
