[615] Βουπράσιον: in northern Elis, cf. 23.631. The ‘whole and part’ are often thus united, cf. v. 632, “Τρῶάς τε καὶ Ἕκτορα Ν” 1, ‘Peter and the Apostles’ Acts v. 29.

Ἤλιδα: i.e. the country; the town of that name was not founded until after the Persian wars.
