νεῦρον: i.e. the thong which bound the arrow-point to the shaft.ὄγκους: the three barbs, cf. 5.393. ἐκτός: sc. “ὠτειλῆς”. ἐόντας: connected in thought with both nouns, though it agrees only with the nearer.
