[105] ὦρσεν: sc. to strife against the Greeks.

ἄναξ κτλ.: i.e. Apollo, the god of archery, who had given him his bow. cf. 4.101, 2.827.

Λυκίηθεν: i.e. from Zeleia in Trojan Lycia. cf. “Δ 103, Β” 824. From these Trojan Lycians, the Southern Lycians of Sarpedon (471, 629) are to be distinguished.
