ὀλύρας: always plural. For the food of the Homeric horses (“λωτός, σέλινον, κρῖ, κύπειρον, ὔλυραι, πυρός, ζειαί”), see on 2.776. — This whole enumeration serves to emphasize the wish that one of these chariots had been brought to Troy.
