[32] οὐκ ἂν δὴ κτλ.: should we not, etc., “shall we not,” etc. A question in the sense of an exhortation. “Let us suffer these mortals” etc. Cf.οὐκ ἂν δὴ μείνειας ἀρηίφιλον Μενέλαον Γ” 52. Corresponding to this, is the use of the hortatory subjv. in the second clause, 34.

Τρῶας μέν: correl. with “νῶι δέ” 34.
