ἀποπνείουσα (“πνέω”): const. with “” 180, the intervening verse being parenthetical.

πυρὸς μένος: cf. “ἀλλ᾽ Ἕκτωρ πυρὸς αἰνὸν ἔχει μένος Ρ 565, ἐν δὲ πυρὸς μένος ἧκε σιδήρεον Ψ” 177.
