Τρώων κτλ.: partitive gen. with “μάλιστα. — Λυκίων”: cf. 4.197. These here represent the whole body of allies. This is esp. fitting since Sarpedon had been prominent in the preceding Book, and the other Lycian leader, Glaucus, is to have an important place in this Book.
