καὶ τυγχάνῃ δίκης: seems a strange addition after διδῷ δίκην, with which it appears to be almost synonymous. But the two phrases are probably intended to be but the subjective and objective, the active and passive expression of the same idea; as the ὑπό with the gen. would indicate.
