τὸ γίγνεσθαι: sc. δίκαιον.

ἐπὶ τὸ δίκαιον: epexegetic to οὕτω.

ἐμοὶ οὖν πειθόμενος: begins the conclusion, which is peculiarly pathetic.

ἐνταῦθα: “in the direction of the attainment of our own perfection.” See on ἐκεῖσε above in b. Cf. Apol. 36 c ἐνταῦθα οὐκ ᾖα, οἷ ἐλθὼν μήτε ὑμῖν μήτε ἐμαυτῷ ἔμελλον μηδὲν ὔφελος εἶναι. For the adverb of ‘place where’ with a verb of motion, see on 456 b.
