ἰσόθεον ὄντα. The halfconscious irony of ἰσόθεος foreshadows Plato's attack on the popular theology. οὐδεὶς ἑκὼν δίκαιος here and in 366 D sums up the Thrasymachean theory in a phrase which suggests the Socratic and Platonic antithesis οὐδεὶς ἑκὼν πονηρός.
