2. A Conon is mentioned by the scholiast on Apollonius Rhodius (1.1163), who quotes a passage, ἐντῇἩρακλείᾳ, and mentions a treatise by him, ΠερὶτῆςΝηδιάδος. Josephus (c. Apion. 1.23) also speaks of a writer of this name.
