（Καλλίνης), a veteran officer in the royal companion-cavalry (τῆςἵππουτῆςἑταιρικῆς) of Alexander the Great, took an active part in the reconciliation between him and his army in B. C. 324. (Arrian, Arr. Anab. 7.11.)
