3. A Thracian, a Greek grammarian, who wrote according to Suidas (s. v.) a work on the dithyrambic poets (περὶ διθυραμβοποιῶν), a paraphrase of Homer's Iliad and of Hesiod's Theogony, and an epitome of the work of Damagetus of Heracleia. (Westermann, Quaest. Dem. iv. pp. 38, 88.)
