But as Demus is not mentioned anywhere else, Casaubon proposed to change the name into Κλειτόδημος
, who is well known to have written an Atthis. If the name Demus is wrong, it would be safer to substitute Δήμων
, as Demon wrote an Atthis, which consisted of at least four books.
