Gallus, Fla'vius

was tribune of the soldiers under Antony in his unfortunate campaign against the Parthians in B. C. 36. During Antony's retreat Flavius Gallus made an inconsiderate attack upon the enemy, for which he paid with his life. (Plut. Ant. 42, 43.)
